  4.                       LET'S GO TO BERLIN!

  7.    Recently  my  two  friends  started  to  think about visiting
  8. Berlin  during  one  of weekends.  They asked my if I wanna join
  9. them.  I said "Yes, sure!", but some minutes ago I realized that
  10. I  would  have to spend many money if I want to join them.  So I
  11. said  "No,  sorry boys, it's too expensive.  And they starded to
  12. prepare  the  journey  to  Berlin  on  their own.  But there was
  13. Friday  evening,  my friends was leaving Leszno in an hour and I
  14. was  driving  to  see  my  girlfriend.   But  all the time I was
  15. thinking about my friends.  And I decided that I have to go with
  16. them.   I returned home, asked my mother where my passport is, I
  17. took  some  things,  money  and  I joined my friends.  They said
  18. "You're crazy!" and it was true.  So we started our journey.  We
  19. went to Poznañ and we bought tickets here.  The price of tickets
  20. from  Poznañ to Berlin was about 300000 in one side.  About 8.00
  21. in  the  morning  (Saturday) we were in Berlin.  First of all we
  22. decided to find McDonalds' on Alexanderplatz and have breakfast.
  23. Think  about it we went to Berlin only because we wanted to have
  24. breakfast in McDonalds' After eating we started to walk all over
  25. the  Berlin (mainly East Berlin).  We visited lots of places, we
  26. saw  Branderburgen Gate, The TV Tower - we were in in, about 207
  27. meters  above ground.  We travelled by SBahn, saw lots of people
  28. and  lots of a strange-looking punks.  Happily we didn't saw any
  29. skinhead.  And of course we saw Bundestag.

  31. We  were very tired but we had a train at 21.01 from Berlin.  We
  32. arrived  to  Poznañ  at  about  1.30  at night (Sunday).  It was
  33. really  very  tiring  journey  but  I  discovered that people in
  34. Berlin can't speak English.  Moreover they can't even understand
  35. English.  It was really stupid when for example in McDonalds's I
  36. tried  to  order Big Mac and Chocolade Coctail.  I said:  "A Big
  37. Mac  and  a  Chocolade Coctail please".  And the girl behind the
  38. corner  looked  at  me  shocked  and  she asked:  "Was?!" It was
  39. really  disgusting!   Imagine  that  I had to point by my finger
  40. what I wanna order.

  42. Well  why  did  I write this article?  There is one reason:  The
  43. subject is very stupid, I know, but I had no time to think about
  44. something  better.   But  this text can improve your knowlege of
  45. English.
